About the Role
Our Gold Coast Nursing and Allied Health service, based at Robina, has an opportunity for a dedicated individual to join their team and provide clinical services in the area of Social Work to clients within the health service district within Spiritus.
Working weekdays and supported by friendly and helpful staff you will be responsible for assisting clients with complex needs and social situations, providing case management, advocacy, support and counselling. Additionally development, and implementation of programs is required as is providing professional leadership and support to care staff, particularly in responding to emerging issues in providing services to people with complex needs.
To be successful we are seeking that you have: eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of social work service in a community setting, to the elderly, the younger disabled and their carers and hold a related tertiary degree in Social Services Welfare industry. Additionally with a strong customer focus offering a holistic approach to care and a friendly disposition you are on your way to applying for the role.
You will also be required to hold and maintain a National Police Certificate or be eligible to obtain one prior to commencing.
