About the Role
Our Logan, based at Meadowbrook, is seeking the skills and knowledge of a motivated and professional part time Occupational Therapist.
As the Occupational Therapist, your aim is to improve or maintain peoples’ independent functioning in all aspects of living. You may also assist people who are limited by physical or psychological illness, neurological dysfunction, developmental delay or the ageing process.
You will be responsible for the assessments, writing and review of our clients, your goal will be to assist clients towards self-care and to maximize their independence. To achieve this goal, you will be liaising with internal and external referral agencies.
The applicant must be appropriately qualified in Occupational Therapy, eligible for membership with their Professional Association, have relevant and recent experience, used to using their initiative and have good time and management skills.
We require the successful applicant to hold a current Queensland drivers licence (and your own reliable vehicle) and hold or meet the Queensland Department of Transport Drive Authorisation requirements.
To be successful you are required to hold and maintain a current Police Check, First Aid & CPR certificates at your expense or be eligible to receive these prior to commencing.
