About the Roles
Our Townsville service has a full time opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join their friendly team as a Clinical Nurse Client Services Area Leader.
Working to your own exceptional standards, you will be responsible for nursing leadership of staff and client care standards within your assigned geographical area, prioritization of referrals, client assessments, case management and have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government bodies and other care providers.
To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:
- Current registration with the QNC or Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience, with at least 3 years in community sector nursing;
- Post registration qualifications in community health other relevant and specific area of clinical practice;
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills;
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge in Community Nursing or in more specific areas such as palliative care, dementia, gerontology, continence management, chronic conditions self-management etc…
- Hold and maintain a current National Police Certificate at your expense or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing.
- Possession of a current open Qld driver’s licence (Class C).
Experience in training, coaching or mentoring is highly desirable.
