About the Role
Zillmere Community Care Service, based at Virginia, is currently seeking a number of experienced part time Personal Care Workers to join our enthusiastic and friendly team, located at Virginia.
Your role will focus on assisting clients to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes with duties including:
- Performing hygiene tasks as directed by the client and informed by the care plan
- In home Respite Care;
- Shopping either with or without the client;
- Domestic duties of a routine nature;
- Food Preparation;
- Empower clients to meet their social needs; and
- Act as a role model in promoting positive healthy behaviours.
For this role you will be required to have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent);
- First Aid certificate;
- A current open Qld driver’s licence;
- Access to own transport and ability to meet restricted driver authorization requirements;
- National Police Certificate at your expense or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing; and
- Desire to make a positive difference in the community.
