About the Role
Spiritus/Jobcare is a specialist not for profit employment provider delivering Job Services Australia (JSA) across North Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Jobcare sits within the Social Welfare stream and draws upon other Spiritus services to support disadvantaged jobseekers.
As the Employment Development Officer, you will support the Employment Advisers to gain employment outcomes for their job ready job seekers. The role requires an experienced person who has developed wide networks with employer groups and has the ability to match and reverse market job seekers to appropriate organisations.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our Jobcare team on a full time basis across our Gold Coast sites.
The position calls for excellent self management skills; an ability to work with job seekers to identify their work goals; and the skills to communicate professionally with employers to achieve desired outcomes for both parties. A relevant background within Job Network or the new JSA contract would be highly desirable.
