About the Role

Our motivated and friendly team at Gold Coast Nursing and Allied Health, based at Robina, is currently seeking the clinical expertise of a full-time Registered Nurse. This position is for Maternity Leave relief, fixed term until 31 December 2010.

Working within the Community Sector this role will see you utilise your clinical knowledge and skills and be responsible for the care of your clients in areas of:

  • Comprehensive assessments;
  • Palliative care;
  • Wound care;
  • Medication management; and
  • Post acute care.

Addittonal accountabilities will include, but are limited to, client case management; assessment, writing and review of client care plans; and referring and liaising with other care providers.

With an enthusiastic and compassionate nature, you will be well organised and confident in fulfilling your daily duties whilst visiting clients within their home environment.  We also require you to possess:

  • Registered Nurse qualifications with current QNC registration;
  • A current open Queensland drivers licence (and potentially your own reliable vehicle);
  • A strong client focus; and
  • Highly developed documentation skills and attention to detail.

To be successful you are required to hold and maintain a current National Police Certificate at your expense or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing.

Some weekend and on-call work will be required.
