About the Role 

A recent restructure of our Community and Aged Care services has identified a need for a full-time Contracts Coordinator, based at Greenslopes. 

Reporting to the Business Manager - Community, the Contracts Coordinator will develop, implement and oversee standardised frameworks in line with organisational models for contract management across our Community and Aged Care stream, to ensure the effective and cost-efficient delivery of services to our in-home clients and aged care residents in accordance with the relevant standards and funding requirements. 

This role works closely and collaboratively with managers at all service points and with funding bodies.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Managing costs and identifying risks related to contracting and procurement within Community and Aged Care, robust reporting and database management, and scrutiny of procurement processes;
  • Annual financial audits of service points across Community and Aged Care; and detailed analyses and audits of business operations across Community and Aged Care, including summaries, recommendations and action plans.  

A tertiary qualification in an accounting, legal or business-related discipline and an understanding of Aged Care standards and Funding requirements would be highly regarded.

Key Selection Criteria  

  • Contemporary experience in the contract management in a commercial or not for profit environment or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated experience in scrutinising, analysing and reporting on the financials of contracted services against budgets, and the ability to challenge anomalies;
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to use data from a variety of sources to provide feedback on contract performance to stakeholders;
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills, and the ability to appropriately hold others to account;
  • Ability to model a values-based personal style that is professional, collaborative and flexible;
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships;
  • Demonstrated mature interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral);
  • Highly developed IT skills relevant to this type of work; and
  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills.
