About the Role

A recent restructure of our Community and Aged Care services has created an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for high quality service to join the senior leadership team of the Spiritus Community and Aged Care stream. 

Reporting to the Director of Community and Aged Care, this critical role will provide leadership and direction relative to the development and operations of an allocated group of key functions to enable the provision of client and resident-centred domestic service (cleaning, kitchen, laundry) models, contemporary and relevant client information services and systems, and administration services to support the Community and Aged Care stream.

 In addition you will have the responsibility of: 

  • Developing contemporary, consistent, responsive and financially viable support services that facilitate the delivery of the organisation's strategic intents.
  • Providing leadership and facilitation of administration services, and for other strategic initiatives where assigned; under the leadership and the direction of the Director Community and Aged Care. 

Possession of or working towards a post-graduate qualification in business management, or substantial related experience at a senior level will be highly regarded.

Key Selection Criteria  

  • Relevant qualifications in business management, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Substantial experience in a senior management role and evidence of applying contemporary management process relevant to achieving organizational goals;
  • Evidence of demonstrable business improvement initiatives;
  • Demonstrated mature interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to motivate and work with staff in the achievement of organizational goals within a team environment;
  • High level of problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in successful change management and the building of a strong success orientated and empowered team culture.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, coordinate, evaluate and modify the delivery of high quality innovative client-focused domestic services and service support models.
  • Demonstrated evidence of an ability to logically and comprehensively critique domestic and support service models.
  • Experience in health or community or aged care services management, or relevant transferable skills from another sector.
